This class is designed to strengthen ballet foundations and emphasises core and glute activation, posture enhancement, and overall balance. The length of the video runs for 38 minutes but we recommend dedicating 45-50 minutes to this class to allow ample time for practice and repetition of exercises.


We recommend repeating this class at least twice through or until secure in the exercises before moving onto class 2.


The class delves into exercises specifically chosen to improve stability and muscle engagement. These include movements that enhance pelvic stability—a fundamental aspect of ballet that supports all dance movements. The session gradually incorporates more complex exercises aimed at integrating upper body strength with core stability. This not only helps in achieving graceful ballet poses but also protects against injuries by strengthening the muscles around the spine and pelvis.


The class concludes with a stretch and release in the exercise "Hamstring and Upper Body".
