This second resistance band class, senior level, is guided by Jenna Roberts. We recommend doing this class after a thorough warm-up or following a ballet or dance class, as it includes several flexibility exercises that require the body to be properly prepared. In this session, there are also exercises focusing on the core, weight transfer, and batterie, aiming for a balance between strength and fluidity.
Encourage students to focus on the sensation of lengthening during the flexibility exercises, reminding them not to force their range and allowing each individual to self-regulate their movement. Use the bands as a tool to deepen core awareness and foster stability during weight transfers, while also guiding them to think about the support of the foot and the imprint it makes on the floor. In batterie, make sure students work with precision and lightness, using the resistance band to support their movements.
