Sub-Junior Band Class 5, guided by Melissa McCabe, introduces progressive strength and alignment work through controlled resistance. The sequence begins with mobility and hamstring activation in Zip Freeze Stretch, moves into dynamic extension and upper-body support in Dynamic Body Resistance, and develops coordinated leg and arm placement before concluding with an introspective stretch sequence.

A key moment in this class is Fondu with Control, which enhances proprioception and coordination between the working and supporting leg — a vital step in developing early balance and jump preparation.

Encourage precision in transitions between flexion and extension.

Highlight the connection between the supporting leg and trunk stability.

Use the final Breathe, Stretch, Reflect sequence to reinforce awareness and control rather than passive release.
