Fusion Ball

Fusion Ball

The students will be working and improving their arabesque during this exercise, by releasing the hips while also building strength and control.

Starting Position: Have the students start in a kneeling position and place the fusion ball behind one knee. Tuck the toes of the supporting foot.

Steps:

  1. They will then push into a pike, extending the supporting leg and opening up the ball-side leg.
  2. Repeat 4 times.
  3. Have the students lower back down, untuck the toes, extend the opposite leg, and take the ball with the opposite hand.
  4. They will then reach forward with the ball and sweep the arm in a circular motion.
  5. Repeat 3 times.
  6. They will transition to repeat the exercise on the other side.
