Fusion Ball

This exercise will activate the abdominals and work the adductors. The students will also be focusing on co-ordination and external rotation.


Starting Position: The student will start by lying on their backs and take the fusion ball in both hands back behind them, the legs will be externally rotated lengthened along the floor.


Steps:

  1. The student will float the legs up towards the ceiling.
  2. As the student curls the chest and arms forward they will open the legs in to a wide 2nd position.
  3. Repeat this 2 times.
  4. They will then lower one leg towards the floor reaching the same arm forward holding the fusion ball.
  5. Repeat this 2 times.
  6. Have the student repeat the whole exercise from the start and then with the feet flexed.
  7. The student will finish in the starting position.
