This exercise is great for students to work the mobility in the spine, especially in to the thoracic which will help with freedom of movement.

Starting Position: The student will begin by lying down on their back with the arms stretched out to the sides, the palms are facing up. Have the student place both legs over the pro-ball.

Steps:

  1. The student will roll the legs over to one side.
  2. They will then extend the top leg, alternating legs 3 times.
  3. Have the student come back to the centre and then repeat this on the other side.
  4. The student will then extend both legs away, taking hold of the top leg they will gently pull it across the body.
  5. They will repeat this on the other side.
  6. The student will then finish in the starting position.
