This exercise aims to improve body and leg alignment for a more graceful attitude devant position. It helps students transfer their classroom skills to performances by focusing on posture, leg positioning and controlled movement.


Preparation: Ask the students to sit at the front of the exercise ball with it placed against a wall. Their legs extended in front of them and rotated outward.


Tips:

1. Guide the students to lift their right leg into attitude devant while using their hands to ensure proper placement.

2. Emphasise the importance of relaxed shoulders and the correct foot alignment, avoiding any sickle in the foot.

3. Keep the leg position steady as the arms transition into 5th and then adjust into an open 5th position.

4. The leg is lowered, coordinating arm and head movements.

5. Repeat this sequence four times in total.


Focus: Highlight how crucial it is to elongate the spine and maintain correct foot placement throughout this exercise.
