The session includes progressive exercises that challenge alignment awareness, core control, and coordination, concluding with a gentle stretch to reinforce spinal and pelvic alignment.


This warm-up is an excellent choice before adage, pirouette practice or any class that demands postural control and deep strength.


Tips:

Watch for unnecessary tension in the upper body—students should avoid gripping the shoulders or lifting the ribcage.

Cue soft abdominal engagement throughout to support spinal alignment.

Remind students that quality of movement takes priority over range; alignment should guide every phase of the warm-up.
