Welcome to Advanced Band Class 3, guided by Melissa McCabe! In this session, dancers will explore dynamic flexibility, combining controlled mobility with targeted strengthening exercises to enhance alignment, glute and leg strength, and prepare dancers effectively for both allegro and adagio.


Tips:

Remind dancers during Dynamic Warm Up Stretch that they should work within the range that they can control, prioritising pelvic alignment rather than extreme flexibility.

Highlight the importance of rib alignment and core engagement throughout the class to ensure controlled flexibility and safe execution of movements.

In exercises focusing on strength for allegro, remind dancers that glute activation directly translates to stronger, safer jumps.
