While this is a 30-minute class, we recommend allocating 40 minutes to allow time for repeating exercises as needed. Class 7 builds on the principles introduced in Class 6, advancing the work on core engagement, mobility, and dynamic control. Guided by the experienced Pearl, this session focuses on enhancing core and torso strength while improving both strength and mobility in these areas.


This class challenges students to explore their full physical potential through dynamic exercises, expressive adagios, and intricate batterie combinations. The incorporation of imaginative cues fosters creativity and helps deepen their technical understanding.


Key areas of focus include:

Strengthening the deep core and engaging the upper body to support posture and alignment.

Improving hip, glute, and rotational conditioning to support complex combinations.

Exploring dynamic movement in batterie and refining fluidity in adagios.

Concluding with a warm-down and flexibility work to restore and elongate the body.


Tips for Teachers:

Encourage students to visualise their movements using imagery to deepen their connection to the choreography.

Emphasise the importance of maintaining pelvic alignment and keeping the shoulders relaxed during torso exercises.

Remind students to regulate their flexibility stretches during the warm-down to avoid strain or discomfort.
