The video for this class lasts about 35 minutes. However, plan for 40-50 minutes to allow for repeating exercises. As always, students should repeat Class 3 at least twice or until they feel confident before moving on to Class 4.
In Class 4, we build on the challenges from the previous class and introduce the "TFL, Hamstring & Glute Extension" exercise. The TFL is vital for stabilising both the hip and knee, which is incredibly important in PBT training. Strengthening the hamstrings, particularly at the end of their range, can greatly lower the risk of injury. Strong glutes are key for arabesques and rotations, making this exercise a valuable addition to your class routine.
After these intense exercises, students will appreciate the "Open Your Heart" exercise, which fosters expressive movement throughout the entire body. During the adage section, the "Attitude, Renversé, Penchée" exercise focuses on improving leg and body alignment. To wrap things up, we'll finish with "Achilles & Hamstring Conditioning," an exercise designed for a calming warm-down and stretch.
