Before moving to the second class, it as advised that students do the first class at least twice through. The video for this class has a runtime of 27 minutes, but we suggest allocating 35-40 minutes to complete the class. This gives you or students ample time to become familiar with the new exercises introduced and comfortably repeat any segments as necessary. Since this class revisits some exercises from the first session, you may find less time is needed for repetition.

This second class in our series is designed to build upon the foundations laid in the first session, some exercises from the first class will be repeated but just the exercise to music. This session introduces new exercises such as 'Butterflies', 'Retiré Activation', and 'Foot Articulation', each tailored to enhance specific areas vital for ballet training. 'Butterflies' improve posture and leg control, while 'Retiré Activation' hones in on hip alignment and coordination. 'Foot Articulation', utilising PBT resistance bands, is aimed at strengthening the feet, focusing on alignment and metatarsal control.

The session also deepens the understanding of hand and finger positioning during port de bras, essential for expressive dance movements. With 'Beginner Curls', students engage their deep abdominals, supporting core stability crucial for when the student moves to more advanced techniques. The turnout introduced in the first class is further refined with coordination exercises, ensuring a well-rounded development. The class concludes with a soothing release, reinforcing the importance of recovery in training.
